Hey Super Heated Cool, Chief (and Speck)! Wow! Wish I'd been there, maybe next year! I only heard about it a few years ago. Sounds like the place to be for anyone interested in unbrideled adventure and creativity! Please grace us with more pics and stories!

Here's an interesting hydro-thermal event:

Steamboat Geyser, Yellowstone.

Did I say that another "Art.eMorph" has been officially accepted into a jurored Art Show? Yes it's true, opening tonight (Friday), at 7pm EDT, at the ArtSpace. The show's theme? "No Objects Accepted." My piece? "Cyber Genesis" otherwise known as "The Big Picture." Not sure the name made any difference. Or the fact that it is a monstorous 43" x 42" elegantly framed, non-objective piece. The file for it is the largest I've made for any of these pieces to date, 30+ Megs. So even in it's gloriously gigantic presentation, there is some mystery. Is it a photo, a painting, a drawing, a computer created piece? The pixels elude the eye, but barely. In some areas, you swear they are visible! But then why not in other areas? Sorry for the gushing! This is one of my first noticed pieces. Oh, and it is the one that hung at Main Street Beer Company for six months, (my local watering hole).

Bless you and the baby, Coop! I keep forgetting to mention it. Your soon to be joyous occasion, is often in my thoughts. Reading these wonderful posts, your words glow!

Peace All!

Picture was cool and all, but who's that freak with the camera?

Ha! I see speck. Who is now in some other country. Damn. I want her charmed life.

Can't wait to see those pictures!

Sorry chief, but I've been conditioned to respond to "BM" as though people are saying "bowel movement". You can imagine how shaky the rest of the paragraph was for me. It took me a moment to get back on track.

BM was good. I felt the theme last year (floating world) was much better than this year (beyond belief). Water stuff lent itself so well to the desert.

We saw a couple crashes on the side of the road going home Sunday night. At least one was obviously someone who was at burning man. A lot of people who are very tired + night driving = not a good situation.

I have a lot (256mb) of pictures and small video that I have to go through, but hopefully I can post some stuff pretty quickly.

Hehe! I mainly wanted to challenge you and see if you knew all the words to "Can You Picture That," I sure don't. Wonder if the Electric Mayhem have any touring spots open... maybe I could sub for Zoot on the sax... surely the Muppets wouldn't mind if I brought the baby? (this is bed rest stir-craziness talkin')

Home from Burning Man, glad you had a good time chief. Looking forward to some stories... :) "Zero Times" sounds suspiciously like my next door neighbors. They haven't played anything together before either, judging by their "sound." Their lead guitarist is pretty good, but the other guy needs to learn about the knobs at the top and why "tuning" is recommended. Unless they're after the avant-avant "3/4 tone apart" thing.

The desert was great. 14h drive, not so much.

Interesting concept, Jimbo. At BM there was a band called 'Zero Times' driving around on a truck. They only played songs they had played 'zero times' together. Actually pretty good.

So tired..

Ha! I'm glad you mentioned it! We're covering 'Moving Right Along' and 'Can You Picture That'... Not sure when we'll do it, but I'll definitely let you know.

Stuff is in the hive! Unfortunately, a few tracks did not survive the ripping. I don't know what it was. But the aforementioned tunes are snuggly ensconsed in a honey-sweet hexagonal cubby on our server.

You big tease, heh. I think I'm going to need a rendition of "Can You Picture That" from you.
